When the first reports of the New Jersey crash surfaced, the Superintendent issued a statement indicating her horror that no one had reported

the driver’s record to her or the school district.

Apparently, she had been notified.

In a letter dated December 21, 2017, Superintendent Dr Michele Robinson received a let

ter from the state revoking Hudy Muldrow Sr’s right to have a school bus endorsement. Subsequent to that, another letter reinstated his endorsements was sent.

It will be interesting to watch how events unfold over the next several months.

In other news, a crash with a parked school bus on I94 in Michigan left a tow truck driver dead. An SUV carrying two adults and three kids crashed into the school bus. The bus had parked on the side of the road due to engine problems. The tow truck driver was near the rear of the bus when the crash occurred. The tow truck driver died at the scene and all five people in the SUV were in critical condition at area hospitals following the crash.

There were no students on the school bus and the driver escaped injury.
