On April 10, the Van Culin family (Roxane, Jordayna, and Brant) visited the Monticello Fire Department to thank them for their efforts 20 years before in the aftermath of the bus crash. The family brought treats to the firefighters and spent time visiting with them. Four of the firefighters at the station that night were at the scene of the accident and assisted in saving Brant’s life. The visit brought back memories of the day but also hope and healing.
